Lindiwe Sithole is a 37-year-old talented beadwork artist from Simunye group in One South zone. She has undergone a remarkable transformation. She recalls, “Before joining ACAT I admit I was quite lazy about reading the Bible. But now I am a radiant and happy person. Despite being naturally shy, ACAT has empowered me to teach Bible studies to church members and community youth. I have a business making and selling beadwork, decor and also collecting tin and bottles to sell to the recyclers. At the moment I haven’t yet started saving in Saving and Loans Group. I put my money into the bank, and also help my mother buy groceries. Oh yes! We have a lemon tree at home, and now I am preparing to plant potatoes with my group. I am also now a Community Volunteer.”
