ACAT KZN - Helping rural Africans deal with Poverty, Malnutrition and HIV.

The Emdwebu Groups, who received training last year, have since established a communal garden where they grow vegetables such as cabbage, beetroot, and spinach. They currently sell their produce to local community members, but their vision is much bigger — they dream of one day supplying large retail stores such as Pick ‘n Pay and Spar. For many of them, this achievement is deeply meaningful. Most had previously lost hope, but through the programme they have discovered that they are capable of building something for themselves.

They expressed gratitude for the skills and confidence they have gained, which have opened the door to new opportunities for both income and dignity.
